"They say that I am an alien. They say that I am a planet. They say that time is my toy. Simply because I have lived for two hundred and sixty-seven years. But it is my mother who is immortal. Because my mother was a Time Traveller." Justine Finn has lived longer than any one in the history of human kind and, in her two hundred and sixty-seventh year, she finds herself living a peaceful, existence inside a beautiful Off-world museum where people can study and observe the strange, solitary woman. Justine's peace is interrupted when Luna, the winner of a planet wide lottery to meet the ancient one arrives with her youthful questions. But, like all teenagers, Luna has secrets of her own and it is not long before Justine is forced to reveal the truth about her long-life and the gaps in her history that have been buried for over two hundred years. Bramble King is a magical realist memoir that sails over oceans of time under sails of love, death, memory and hope.

'Eugene's On It Again' is a farcical, magical realist day-in-the-life tale of a writer trying to climb over his own doubts, anxieties and those of the locals around him in order to capture that one great idea. This is a book about two things - writing and drinking. Unfortunately for our hero, he is spectacularly good at one of those things. A real natural.
I designed the lettering and filigree based on the old mirrors which can be found in traditional pubs. The background is a photo the writer had taken in his local bar. I took it and reflected it horizontally and vertically to give the impression of a mind in turmoil.

Two Cedi are a Ghanaian clothing company who create Converse, tees and accessories using Ghanaian fabrics.
Two Cedi wanted a redesign of their existing identity which was a hand giving the peace sign. I started with the logo type first, choosing a handwritten style to reflect the handmade element of the products. I then redesigned the hand and filled it with Ghanaian patterns.
I wanted to create a design which could be adapted with different patterns to create an unlimited set of designs, which could then be used on caps and tees.
The logo design translated to caps and tees
The Ady Baker Sound is a collective from Reading who play guitars, use loops, samples, drums, processed beats, white noise, high notes, flat notes, minor chords, major chords, harmonious and non-harmonious sounds to invoke melodies to haunt you.
They wanted a logo which was modern and typographical but with a slight retro feel.
When creating the AB typography, I wanted something which could be used with the full band name and also using just AB. The AB version is something that can be used on badges and other promo items.
I then went on to produce the full version of the logo, the yellow and the typography around the circle giving the retro vibe.
For their single artwork, I used photos I had taken at one of the band’s gigs, mixed with some of my digitally glitched paintings.
I also designed badges and tees to be sold at the band’s gigs.

Initial logo explorations
This Alien Planet are an up and coming ‘shoegaze’ band from London. They wanted something which represented their music and literally incorporated an alien theme.
I did a lot of research into ancient languages and alien symbology and based the logo on these geometric forms and shapes. I also created a simple symbol to represent the band using the A I had created for the logo. After this, I created a series of posters for their up coming gigs using different colour variations.
As well as work on the initial art direction for the UI for Sea of Thieves I was asked to create marketing materials to support the promotion of the game.
I created Facebook, Twitter and Youtube banners, emailers, website concepts and posters to support the marketing and promotion of the game.
The Xbox Live Events team needed graphics for a sizzle reel to promote their services within the wider Microsoft business.
I created intro and outro slates, interstitials and overlays for the sizzle video. I moved away from traditional Microsoft styling using black and white, desaturated footage and a bold flash of orange to create something contemporary and clean.
